The film follows two of the most noticeable organized crime bosses in New York, Frank Costello (Robert de Niro) and Vito Genovese (de Niro) because they are for control over the streets of the city. As soon as the best friends, petty jealousy and a number of betrayal bring them to a fatal collision course that will redesign the mafia (and America) forever.
