Story

Men and women live in a vast underground force with few regulations that they believe protect them from the toxic and broken world above. Whether they’re exploring the stars, escaping dystopias, or making the world a better place, these women are what science fiction is all about. The floor fans spin in the wrong direction in terms of the orientation of the blades in different episodes.

Featured in WatchMojo: 10 Best TV Shows of 2023 You Need (2023). The Wool Trilogy is one of the best books I’ve ever read. I was very hesitant to check out The Force because I had such a vivid inner vision of this post-apocalyptic world from the books, and I didn’t want to mess it up.

That said, I’m halfway through season 1 and it’s nothing like the books at their best!

I mean, there’s the setting, the events, and the basics of what made the books great. However, most of the detailed story is completely new and fleshed out, filling in the gaps of things that were hinted at or ignored in the books. What I’m glad about is that I still have a special version of the books in my head and the show is like a fun new version.

A lot of it was just as I imagined

I have to say they did a PHENOMENAL job with the casting and the sets. But the differences set the book apart and that’s what I like. This is probably the first time I’ve been happy that the show isn’t just like the books, but I still really like the show. Super success!
